Dermatology & Skin Cancer Consultants was founded in the fall of 2011 by Dr. Dafnis Carranza, Board-Certified Dermatologist, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Carranza was recruited from UCLA in Los Angeles, California to relocate to West Tennessee in 2007 for her outstanding melanoma research, experience, and training in Mohs surgery. She is recognized as the first in Jackson, Tennessee to offer Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer treatment, and advanced cosmetic techniques. Our practice strives to meet our patients' cosmetic goals, while emphasizing the importance of overall skin health. We understand the investment our patients are making in their skin, and we work diligently to ensure they get the most out of their time and budget.
